Intro

In the past, while I was training for half-marathons, I noticed that a lot of the running apps use up quite a bit of battery from your phone and I found this to be the main reason I stopped using them.

Challenges

The challenge with this project is that there are many exercise apps out there, I wanted to make this app unique while offering routes that are based on your mood, the season or the weather for that day.

Since I’ve experienced problems with running apps, this made it easier to understand what users are looking for. Then I gathered my research and created user personas to create an ideal user that would be suitable for this app.

I designed the home screen to display each category as a circle but once I started to create this prototype I liked having images on the home screen. I wanted to have exciting colours where originally the colours I picked didn’t have that electric feel to them so I made the green and purple brighter.
